Radiation Detected!

Today I went back to re evaluate the urinal at Xxxxx's (Name removed to protect the Innocent).  Actually, the primary purpose was two pick up lettuce and tomatoes for our evening dinner.  Fortunately, it has been a week since my discovery, a good time to recheck the urinal and see if it was something in the urinal that was radioactive, or the urinal itself. 

Some ceramics may have trace amounts of thorium or uranium in them.  Most famous, or rather infamous, were Fiestaware plates.  Many where coated with a glaze made from uranium compounds. 

The results?  Urinal is know showing normal background, 7 to 8 uR/hr.  Whatever was setting off the PM1703M has been flushed away.
